Since last week I’ve been seeing a lot about Blue Whale on the internet. So let me tell you in detail what is blue whale game and suicides caused by blue whale were real or fake. Basically blue whale is a russian challenge game which is being played in several countries. Blue Whale Game assigns several tasks to its players during a 50 days period and on the 50th day player is assigned a task which is to commit suicide. Blue Whale was started in 2013 by a death group of Russia. A former psychology student Philipp Budeikin, claims to be its inventor. Budeikin aims to clean this society by motivating people for suicide.

What is Blue Whale Game:
Blue Whale is an internet challenge game which offers different thrill challenges to their players and these challenges are being monitored by the administrators of the blue whale game. Challenges are usually one per day but in some days it can be more than one. However, the last task is to commit suicide. There are number of tasks to be completed in 50 days which includes climbing a crane, waking up at 4:20 am, standing on a bridge and roof, watching videos sent by administrators.
Suicides caused by Blue Whale were Real or Fake:
Lets talk about the suicides caused by blue whale, there are couple of suicide incidents occurred by blue whale. I have listed some of them for your knowledge.
- In Argentina, a 16 year old Benjamin committed suicide as a task assigned by blue whale.
- In India, a boy from Kerala State, have committed suicide on 26 July 2017 after playing blue whale game.
- Another boy from India, committed suicide this year in August, his body was found from his washroom.
- A 15 year old student from Venezuela, committed suicide after taking part in Blue Whale on 27th April 2017.
Reactions on Blue Whale:
- In India, authorities have blocked all the links referring to this deadly game.
- A Chinese Internet Service company has blocked 12 suspicious network groups related to Blue Whale.
- Mexican authorities have warned their citizens to refrain from playing this deadly game.
Target of Blue Whale:
I have concluded that blue whale targets under developed countries, no doubt it is also being played in developed countries as well. But the main focus is under developed countries where people are facing many problems including financial, family, educational and unemployment. Basically it targets teenagers, in most cases whose age starts from 13 years to 20. Blue Whale find it easy to trap teenagers from countries like India, Bangladesh, China, Brazil. Being a human, I suggest you to stay away from these kinds of games,focus on your education instead of wasting your life.
